Hello! My name is Amanda and I am a sales and marketing professional in Austin, TX! I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in December 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and a Certificate in Business Foundations. 

 

I began my professional career with Techtronic Industries after graduation in February 2021 as an Event Marketing Specialist. After 4 months in this role, I was promoted to a Field Sales and Marketing Representative position. Since beginning my career with TTI, I have learned and developed valuable skills in sales, marketing, relationship building. and leadership. I have demonstrated leadership on my team, increased market share for the company to 80%, and managed a $5 million territory.

Over the past few years, I have developed a passion for strategic advertising and creative thinking. As an Area Marketing Assistant for The Preiss Company, I helped coordinate marketing efforts for five large student apartments in the city of Austin. This is equivalent to nearly 5,000 bed spaces! My team and I pioneered different marketing strategies for the company that were eventually implemented in other properties across the country. With the Austin area being the second largest market in the company, I worked hard to attract new leases and encourage renewals in our communities.

I spend my free time with my faithful companion, Floyd. Floyd is my border-collie mix puppy that I rescued in August of 2019. I can always count on him to finish my popcorn, warm me with cuddles, and find new places to explore. With a cup of tea and Floyd by my side, I know I can accomplish anything!
