As an Area Marketing Assistant at The Preiss Company, my team and I thought of creative events to help residents love where they live. We always strive to give our property a "community" feel to help our students more feel at home. An example of this is our Valentine's Day Event that we hosted in February 2020. Our goal was to connect residents to each other and encourage them to renew their leases for the following school year. At this event, we created many activities for residents to participate in. In addition to Valentine's candy, desserts, and decorations, we collected names of people who wanted to make friends and relationships and created a raffle to introduce new people to each other! We also provided supplies for residents to destroy pictures of their exes.
